Activity: Solfeggio Frequencies

Solfeggio frequencies are specific tones that help the mind, body, and spirit.  There are nine of them, and you can find thousands of variations on  YouTube.  They’re fabulous to use as background music or to meditate.  Depending on your need, They can be as short as 30mins to 10 hours.

Activity: Rest

Take time out for yourself, whether it be a 20-minute nap or a lay-in.  Sit in your favourite chair with a face mask or, binge watch something on Netflix.  What you do isn’t important, but take time to ground yourself and check in.

Book: Letting Go by David R Hawkins

I was faffing around on YouTube one day when the audiobook version of this book popped up in my recommended list.  So I listened to the first two chapters, and OMG, David was playing my song, so I bought the paperback and audiobook version.  This book helped me take a good look at my behaviours and the possible reasons for them.  It has helped me so much that I’ve recommended it to many of my friends and colleagues.  A must for anyone who wants to let go of unnecessary baggage.

Activity: Evening Meditation

I often find it hard to switch off at 5:30 pm once I turn off my work laptop.  I still think about everything I couldn’t get done or need to do tomorrow.  To take back my evenings, I’ve started listening to evening meditations to close out my workday and reset my energy for my creative activities.

Book: The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks

I cannot recommend this book highly enough – there were many points where I stopped in my tracks open-mouthed because the author so accurately pinpointed one of my limiting beliefs (or upper limits as he calls them).  The author clearly has a passion for this subject, and it shows.

Crystal: Labradorite

I keep a piece of labradorite under my pillow, and it has done wonders for my sleep. During a particularly difficult period, I dreamt about labradorite (I had no idea it existed until then), so I bought two pieces, one for my bedroom and the other for my desk. I woke up the next day feeling like a weight had been lifted. I absolutely love this crystal.

App: Insight Timer (available on iTunes and Google Play)

I’m not sure how I survived without this app; it has over 45000+ meditations.   There is a paid version, but I have been using the free version for around 8 months and use it at least 3 times a day without fail.

Book: Voices in the Dark: My Life as a Medium by Leslie Flint

This beautifully written book gives a lot of context as to why many spiritualists perform certain activities in a certain way.
